Difference between B/L and D/O

B/L：

BILL OF LOADING,It's a document of title to the goods

D/O：

DELIVERY ORDER,It is the proof THAT THE DESTINATION port needs when extracting goods, CANNOT TRANSFER.

After the goods are put on the ship, the shipping company will issue B/L to the SHIPPER, and the SHIPPER will transfer the B/L to the CONSIGNEE. When the goods arrive at the port, the CONSIGNEE will go to the shipping company by B/L to exchange for D/O, and D/O will go to the port to pick up the goods.

One or only one of the two is left in the hands of the owner before the goods are picked up. However, D/O is no longer a certificate of property right. After the owner receives D/O, it means that the shipping company has released the goods to the owner.
